One time I had two vines in my back yard hanging from a tall tree. Then one day I decided to act like George of the Jungle and swing from vine to vine. It seemed like an awesome idea so I climbed in the tree and my brother Ben would hand me the first vine. So I swung and it worked. I grabbed the first vine on to the second it was probably one of the coolest things I ever did. So I did that for about 3 or 4 days and it was so much fun. I showed everyone that came over. Now while I was swinging I was about 30 feet in the air. Then one day I went up the tree and was getting ready to swing, my brother handed me the vine and I began to swing. Then all of the sudden the vine snapped I fell and landed strait on my back and began laughing. My brother said it was so funny just seeing me swing and then just fall. Well, I thought to myself I still have the other vine so I kept on swinging away. A week later the same thing happened the vine snapped and I fell on my butt this time and laughed again. I don’t have any vines any more so that stinks, but I will never forget those good old days when I used to pretend to be George of the Jungle.

My Invention
January 7, 2009If I were to invent anything it would definitely be a cloning belt. For one thing I could be in a lot of places at once. I could make an entire army of myself and if anyone tried to attack America I could be there entire army. I would make it so I would be able to make an endless amount of me. I would also be able to clone other people with me belt. How it would work is that I would put my belt on and beneath the buckle I would open it and there would be a little meter. All I would have to do is turn the meter to the number of clones I wanted and press a button and bam they all appear. The reason I would invent this is because it would be cool to have and I could have my own army of myself. The army would do what ever I commanded. With this power I would probably become a superhero and live in New York were all the other superheroes live. While I live in New York i would kick spiderman out of the job. But i would also have one of me in every state and each of my clones would have there own cloning belt. So pretty much the whole U.S of A is protected by me. The idea for this belt came to me when I was about seven. Me and my cousins were trying to think of the best superhero power. So my idea was to be able to clone yourself. The reason i thought it would be the best was because could protect the whole world. So now think of this if I created a million clones and each one of those clones created a million it would equal 1,000,000,000,000 (what ever that number is). That just kept multiplying I would have so many me’s I would not be able to count them all. Now there is only one way to get rid of all the cones it is a button one the back of my belt. All I have to do is push it three times in a row and they all disappear. So if by any chance my clones become evil. I just push that button and bang they are gone as quick as they came. If I did become a superhero I would need a good superhero name if anybody thinks of one please tell me. For my last thing I would add some really handy stuff like batman. There is one feature that is very important on my belt it has a self detonates if my belt gets into the wrong hands. That is the thing i would invent and the reasons i would invent it.

Front of the Class
December 9, 2008The movie I am writing this blog is called Front of the Class. This movie is based on a true story about a man named Brad Cohen. Brad Cohen at six years old found out that he had Tourette syndrome. Which in case some people don’t know Tourette syndrome is a problem you have in you brain that makes you say random funny noises. So anyway when Brad finds out he has Tourettes his father does except it and really is embarrassed to be around him. The story is about Brad and his life story and how he is going to become a teacher. In the beginning of this story it starts of as him as a child and how he is made fun of constantly because of his tourettes. Later, in his life he goes to college and gets his bachelors degree for teaching. In his early twenties he moves to Atlanta, Georgia and begins to look for a job in teaching. When he goes to his first job interview his resumé is perfect, but people don’t like it that he says all these random words. So he goes to about 18 different schools and no one excepts him. Finally, he goes to an interview and they really like him. Mean while as he is waiting for that phone call he goes to one of those online dating things and finds a girl named Nancy. They really like each other and they start dating. Finally that one call comes in and they want him to meet the 2nd grade teachers. At first they are a little hesitant about hiring him, but they end up doing it. After about 3 months teaching a man came to evaluate him, and he ends up becoming teacher of the year . Nancy and him get married in 2006 and he is still teaching today. This movie taught me to never give up. To always go for the gold no matter what happens or what anybody says. I also learned to except people for who they are. i just saw this movie on sunday night and I recommend it to anybody. That is the movie that effected my life.

Thanksgiving Day
December 1, 2008One Thanksgiving day right when I woke up I smelled it. That wonderful smell of apple pie being cooked and some other food. The turkey was in the frig covered in lemon juice and all these other spices. Around 10am my dad started making the stuffing that is one of my favorite things. And it looked so good I even took a little of it and eat it. It was delicious so people say they don’t like the stuffing, but that is one of my favorite parts. Nexted my dad started on the mash potatoes. When he put the turkey in the over you could smell the lemon juice and the spices he put on it. We were going over to Ry-guys house for dinner and we were in charge of the turkey. When it was done we loaded everything into the car and left for his house. We got there and loaded everything out of the car and went inside. While my parents and Ryans parents were preparing for dinner. Me Ryan and Ben pulled out the Wii and played LEGO Indian Jones we were planning to beat the game, but we never did. When we went to get our food the first thing I got were the sweet potatoes and they looked so good. After everyone got there food we said the blessing and ate everything was so delicious. When we left the Youngs Ry-guy came home with us. And me and him went to Johns house. We stayed up really late playing guitar hero messing around with ryan Ipod Touch. We finally went to bed and they we got up the nexted day and went shopping at 5am in the morning. And that is what I did on Thanksgiving Day.

The Tank in My Pocket
November 18, 2008The tank in my pocket is my phone. The reason I call it the tank because this thing is indestructible. My phone is at least dropped 5 times a day. Whenever I run it falls out of my pocket. The thing has been kicked, thrown and dropped. The phone is made by Verizon. It is the bottom of the barrel phone. I don’t even think they make them any more. It was given to me by my friend Rachel it was used, and most of the scratches on it are from me. Today i was pushing my bro on the skateboard and it fell out of my pocket and hit the pavement. Then once it was on the ground I didn’t see it and I kicked it. Then another time my friend got my phone after it fell out of my pocket, and threw it because he thought it would be funny. It hit the ground and it was still alive. And one time I was playing with my dog outside. And while I was playing with her my phone fell out of my pocket and it was left outside for about three hours. The weird thing is I have only had this phone for about 2 weeks, and all this has already happened to it. It is really surprising that it has not fallen apart. This is my 4th phone and it is serving me well. The phone is not the best thing in the world, but it is the tank. It calls and texted people and that is all I need. And I hope this phone lives up to its name and last along time. And if it does break I will probably just get other used one on ebay or something like that. And that is my little story for you guys hope you liked it.

Metaphysical Poem
November 3, 2008When I run on the field to play soccer
It is a awesome feeling.
It is a good feeling when you make a goal
When you make the winning goal for you team
Or playing soccer in the ran and getting all muddy
but shooting the goal in my life
Is a challenge
You have to deal with the mud
And rainy days of life
But there is a defense
To block you from making the goal
In life you have those challenges
And defense that tries to stop you
From scoring the winning goal in your life
But you have those fun times in life
You have team mates
That help you through the defense
Life you have family and friends that help you through it all
They help you make that goal that you have been going for
They are with during the hard and easy times in life
Your team is there till the end.

Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
October 28, 2008Mr. Smith Goes to Washington is a really good movie. The way it starts out is Governor Hubert talking with these men. They are talking about who is going to be the new Senator. They wanted someone that would agree with anything they said. So they could not find anyone and governor Huberts kids were telling him how great this guy was who’s name was Jefferson Smith. He was a young man and he really had a influence on young people. So they choose him for there new senator. When he got to Washington he was amazed by all the monuments and memorials. His favorite memorial was the Lincoln. He felt like those big arms were just ready to receive someone and sit them on his lap. After a week went by from him being in the senate he wanted to post a bill a national boys camp on willets creek. The way he would get funding from this camp is that boys from all over the US would send him money. The only problem is that Senator Joseph Harrison Paine and Jim Taylor are planning to build a damn on that creek. Smith finds out and tries to reason but then he gets into trouble with these men. They start to clam that he owns the creeks and that the money he was getting from the boys he was using it for his own purpose. Then he gets expelled from the senate and the group of people are out to get him. They had so many things against him. They had professional forgery people come in to look at his signature on the papers to see if it was him. So now he is starting to get overwhelmed. So he just plans to leave Washington ,and leave the trouble there. Then his secretary ,Clarissa Saunders, comes up to him while he is by the Lincoln memorial and talks to him and gives him hope. He stays and fight this group of men. The group of men send the press to destroy him but he still stands and fights. In the end he gets his bill past and gets his boys camp.
I really like this movie because it taught you to endure though the hard times and not to give up no matter what. Now I am going to tell you how the movie was made. The movie was made in 1939 it was considered a comedy/ drama film. The production of the movie started April 1939 to 7 July of that year. And that is what i think of this movie.

The Pentagon Memorial
October 14, 2008
At the memorial, which was one month later, 25,000 people attended. The memorial cost around 22 million dollars. The Pentagon Memorial Fund Inc. had a goal to raise 32 million dollars. The other ten million would go towards maintenance for the memorial. The construction of the memorial started on June 16, 2006. There are about 80 Paperbark maple trees planted in the memorial. The memorial also includes five large black acrylic panels. One displays the Purple Heart medal awarded to military members killed in the attacks. The other show the medal that the civilians get. On the back wall are two back wall panels are etched with the victims’ names, and a center panel shows tribute statements. Since the opening of the Pentagon memorial it get 2 million visitors a year. The protection of the memorial is the duty of the United States Pentagon Police. There job is to make sure that no one abuses the memorial or disrespects it. That is the information on the Pentagon Memorial. And I thank all the people who lost the lives on that day

Adolf Hitler
September 30, 2008The quote that Hitler say is very disturbing in a sense that how could someone think that. He was teaching the young people of Germany. That the Jew were like animals. But what can I say we were not much different. Yes we did not kill the blacks by the thousands, but it is the concept. We did not consider the black people human. We made them work like dogs and we thought we were superior over them just like the nazis did over the Jews. When you call someone not human it is a low thing to do I think that Hitler was insane. But the way he influenced the young people of his nation is incredible. If only we were the same way in influencing people to come to Christ.

My Favorite Snack
September 15, 2008My favorite snack would have to be salad. I love to put ranch and italian dressing. I hate the salad that have the purple thing in it. The other reason I love salad is because you can put anything in it. You can put chicken, croutons, carats anything. I eat salad for a snack and a side for dinner. My all time favorite salad is the one my dad makes. It is so good it is the perfect thing to eat but he only makes it on special occasions. I also love caesar salad with the little pieces of ham and onion it is so good. So my favorite snack is salad because it good. And that is my favorite snack.
